How can i crop an image as a circle rather than square

    Hey Guys,

    Could anybody tell me how i can turn a section of a photo into a circle. so basically i want to crop it but instead of cropping it as a square, i really need it to be a circle

    Im a beginner in both photoshop and fireworks, so if somebody could give me an idea on how its done id appreciate it.

    Use the rounded marquee tool in photoshop? (Press M).

    That way you can cut/copy out a section of the photo and paste it in a new layer on your file.
