Pligg - Pros and Cons

I stumbled on pligg months or was it a year ago when it was quite new... I removed it because I was clueless of what I can do for it and its pros and cons... Could someone who has a vast knowledge on pligg do some quality discussion?

What seems very interesting to me in that script is that there is a true support : if you have a question, you can go on the forum and you'll get an answer within a few minutes, that's amazing. The script is really well done too.
I thought one the other hand that pligg was not really optimized for SEO, but i just passed several tests and i have to say that it is one of my best rated sites on SEO !
Really i think it is a very good script.

Not anymore, the forums is useless. People are to busy, lazy or stupid to help.
Plus pligg is a spammers paradise, avoid at all costs!!

 

Agreed. I switched my social bookmarking site to SWCMS. Huge improvements over the old pligg code.

The spam with pligg was just horrendous...

 

Do you have any template for the phpdug site? It is a pity there aren't any free templates to even check,..

 

I would go with Drupal
