    I have used scriptlance for 6 years (as a webmaster). There are a lot of good programmers there but there are also some unreliable ones. It takes a little time to weed through them.

    Scriptlance is good but prepare to fight for the cheapest rates. I suggest getting a few cheap jobs and building your ratings up. Once you're highly rated, you can then charge more.

    Always a classic from designers. Much like the excuse handbook of classics...

    Grannie died (again - third time on a single project), internet out, machine blew up, family came into town unexpectedly, almost there, just one last thing, etc, etc etc

    All the infamous lines you get told when they do not deliver timely, drop out of communication, can't seem to do the work, but keep asking for advances, and so on.
