    Also, using mod_geoip to block/redirect traffic is an easy way (of course you host has to support it). At CloakHost, we have mod_geoip installed on both servers and many clients using them.

    Yes, there is a post on the Proxy-Talk forums that explains How to block traffic from China and other countries.
    Summarized it basically says, use any country blocking website to generate an htaccess code and use it in your .htaccess.

    my server admin has blocked China from the server level so that CHina cannot even PING my server :)

    Which is more efficient IPtables or GeoIP. I am leaning twards using IPtables, because it does not require me changing any of my proxy code.
