I do not sense the security if Safari. I only noticed it was faster but nothing else.....i think the reason for that is because of the features it lacks.

I have been using IE forever..Lately I got introduced to FF. I believe some pages upload a bit slower on FF than on IE. So you can say I use both equally, depending on the web page I want to open.

People say IE is not as customizable as FF, but if you look at it its not true. While IE was still in beta Yahoo had released its own version of the browser. And google has its own version although they do not advertise it because they are in bed with FF at the moment.

Exactly, it is ridiculous to charge $400 for something that is a worse smartphone than a Palm and a worse music player than a creative

Yes, I showed many of my friends IE 7 and they started loving it. They use to be firefox users. But never updated their IE...

Which part of the site gives more benefits to FF users than to IE users? It is a site for HTML, XHTML, CSS etc tutorials. Both of the users want to learn it. I would most likely trust to statistics of "trusted" site.

    http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp
    PR7
960 incoming links according to Google
21,000+ sites containing it's URL in it according to Google.

    http://www.thecounter.com/stats/2007/October/browser.php
    PR3
Incoming Links according to Google - None
Sites containing the URL according to Google - 1 (excluding the page itself)

So I will most likely trust w3schools.

Lets not get deeper in this please, because any statistics can be easily manipulated. The thing is which browser do you like the most and does it fits your need. Firefox is my choice and if IE gives me FF's features and benefits+something new, nothing can's stop me install it, but for now I'm staying with "the fox". :)

    Please reread my statement.

I said, visitors of such a site often tend to use Firefox, not that IE users wouldnt benefit from it.

Well, if you look at some third-level directory structure you might get such values.

The site itself is PR7, http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_checker?domain=thecounter.com

You can trust whoever you want. Personally I'd rather trust a site with diverse sources than one with just one and this is rather onesided.

    Well, you started it.

Thats true, but we arent talking about personal preferences but about market shares and here Firefox is still far from 35%.

I absolutely hate the new version. IE 6 was much better.

Firstly it has a pathetic logo and its much slower than IE6 and Firefox. Secondly, Microsoft tried to be too cool with the GUI and ended up destroying it. I like the traditional approach of Firefox much better.

Brings Opera to mind, with its slightly different approach to the GUI. Maybe thats one reason it never really became a major contender in the browser market.

IE7 is the best IE browser yet but it has it's annoyances it doesn't hardly get used by me.

FF the praised god of browsers is a solid browser but some things always crash it on me and it's pretty annoying. Along with it's love for memory it becomes less appealing. But right now it's probably the best browser so it's what I use.
