Hey, how did people do with the PR update? Some of my proxies got Pr 2- Pr 4 and this site Proxy List got a PR 5!!!

 

Shadey I wouldn't have noticed it until you mentioned PR here: one of my proxies I started 2 month ago is now PR3 and the other PR2!

 

can anybody tell me

if php proxy can unblock myspace totally and using which mod
and can it access https sites .. like e-gold etc.. and can it login to forums etc..

and what about glype
do i need mods for that also.. or is it full featured

 

Glype is full featured in stable version

 

just make sure you have all the flood control mods and server tweaks cause even if you have an awesome box it will crash if its not properly tweaked. Im speaking from experience

Why do this? What about just changing the way the proxy encrypts the urls instead?

When i try to use one of my proxies i get this error

URL Error (2): An error has occured while trying to browse through the proxy. 
Failed to connect to the specified host. Possible problems are that the server was not found, the connection timed out, or the connection refused by the host. Try connecting again and check if the address is correct.

what is kproxy doing displaying my ads?? any comments on this screenshot from my adsense of these sites which have displayed my ads without my prior knowledge

 

I dont know how it works but is it not possible somebody viewed your site through his so adsense thinks its from his site when it was actually your site

I might be totally wrong but its just a idea

That's the only thing I can think of also as I don't see his site "http://server2.kproxy.com/" displaying any adsense now or in his source code other than Fastclick and Adbrite.

Let us know what you find out...

 

Sorry, i've not had time to run through all the posts here, but apart from Adsesne and personal ads, whats' the best thing ads wise to force into a proxy?

and what abt other sites?? if a visitor visits my site through kproxy then also it will just show my domain only according to adsense and kproxy will be shown as the visitor

the above image means that they used my ads on that server

 

I dont know then mate. I was just guessing at a reason

How often do them stats update of sites tht have used your code but not on your list

You're thinking from the 'wrong side of the connection' if you get what I mean. The adsense shot is perfectly correct, it's your thinking that's not.

 

suppose XYZ.com visits my website through his website. then it would be recorded as a a pageview... but in this case kproxy.com has tried to show my adsense ads...

please tell me where i am going wrong

 

Think about it as a proxy and a proxy gets all the information then loads it from its server

So if it visits your site, it gets all your files then loads them from its server

So its as if its been loaded from that site

I think because of that above my original idea was true

u could be right. infact that makes sense.. someone is trying to use multiple proxies

i have stopped such sites from displaying my ads because dont want to take any risks
