The Proxy Discussion Thread

We have released our new proxy script derived from phproxy with a bunch of modifications that makes ours faster and easier on the server. The main feature is that it uses cURL over phproxy's fopen function so it performs better and also has an easy to use admin panel for quick editing. The proxy script itself is free but we also see plugins which do many different things from making myspace.com functional to enabling youtube videos to be watched through the proxy.

If thats your returns you probally need to try adding different text on the site or reroute some of your traffic to a new proxy.

Ive never used since I believed it would be a turn off for repeat visitors, so the decision is make money with adversal and loose visitors, or dont use it and earn money from adsense when those repeat users accidently click adsense. Of course, I wouldn't be against displaying it for chinese/iranian Ips only.

 

Is adversal the best pop under thing if im going to do one and also i think may try it as it just seems so tempting because i can get upto $0.80 cpm and i show close to 60K pageviews a day

My proxies have recieved 21 clicks and earned $1.99 in the past week. They recieved 4 clicks and 17 cents today on adsense. Any idea if i've been smart priced?

 

Dout you would get smart priced with them earnings. I think its usually people who get 100's of clicks a day that get smart priced i believe

 

Anyone know of anyone selling mods to phproxy?

 

2 of my sites have 14 clicks but zero earnings where as my other sites are making $$$. I have no idea what is going on, may be someone likes clicking ads a little too much. Guess I'll have to put some kind of monitoring software in place, anyone know of any that works. Thanks.

kingjacob - what kind of mods are you looking for?
knight rider - proxy earnings with adsense fluctuate a lot. Some days I can get $1.50 clicks, other days on the same proxy I get 1cent clicks. I don't think you've been smart priced .
