Maximum number of ads per page?

I have read this but am not quite sure what it means.

Is it ok to have 2 image ads, 1 link unit and 1 text ad together on a page? Or I can only have up to 3 ads (any format) per page?

 

Ad units are just that. They show text ads or images. Text units are links to search results on google for your site. The links under your post are text ads not regular ad units.

You can have 3 ad units and 3 link units they are not the same. Not sure how many links units you cna have just going by your list.

3 ad units (image/text) and 3 link units (keywords) as long as they aren't search result pages.

 

Honestly, if I see more then 2 google-ads blocks on a page I go away. So I'd say two is more than enough.

 

do you mean our own search result pages (for our site content only) or results pages generated from google search box?

 

image and normal ad units are a single entity , so you can have total of three of them , then you can place three link units , two serach boxes and a referral

but plz dont paste all these , keep ads minimum if you want visitors to visit again
or if you want to just earn bucks you can go ahead with your mfa

 

yeap this is usually the case...but my layout allows me to blend in these ads nicely especially when two of these ad units are set to display image only. so it looks like any ordinary 468x60 ad we place ourselves.
