AdSense Layout On Music Blog

Hi, although I've been using it for couple of years and I know a lot of the basics, I don't consider myself an AdSense expert as I make most of my cash with affiliate programs. But with this particular site I'm really trying to monetize with AdSense due to the nature of the site. I'm also doing AdSense sharing with contributers (they get 75% on all articles they post) so I really would like to get the AdSense earnings up as high as possible on this site to keep them into contributing.

Well all that being said I'm looking for suggestions on my AdSense layout/color scheme for individual posts:

& also for the home page

    Thank You
    for any help

    1) No site banner ? Usually you put adsense in the banner or just below the banner.
    2) Add link ads below navigation bar
just my tips what i would do, rest is your choice

    great theme...simple but effective...

i agree a banner would be better and a horizontal ad unit below would be great...

I've updated it now and I seem to be getting a better CTR. Thanks for the suggestions. I think it's the horizontal banner under the nav bar that's really helped (everywhere except on the homepage, I thought it made it look too "addy" when it was on the homepage)
