traffic but no clicks. help!

I friend of mine set up www.girlpaper.org and it's already getting some traffic after a some three weeks.

However, the CR is below 1%.

What are we doing wrong? Please help

 

Ads in the header and footer are easy to miss. They need to be in the content.

You need to get related ads as much as possible. Exploit you keywords.. have them as much as possible and you will get related ads.

Actually, there's not much content to speak of, since it's mostly images.
However, we've included descriptions for each wallpaper. This has generated very targered traffic.

Look at www.NarutoWallpaper.biz' ad placement, the ads are all within the main content area rather than above and below it, this increases CTR.

 

I think the real problem is maybe getting related ad. I have many sites and the ones that do not have proper related ads have really low page CTR. However, I do not know how to change the ads to make them related to the site. I am naive. It would be nice if someone told me and WinAgain how it is done and also how to calculate page related ad percentage like what live-cms_com done . Thanks in advance
