1% CTR on my blog, 2% CTR on another site... but why?

Is it just random or is there a reason that you can see as to why I get 2x the CTR on:

    http://itrsport.com/

    as I do on:

    http://drakeblogger.blogspot.com/

The first site gets much more traffic than the blog, btw (factor of 25x).

I find that your ads stand out too much on your first site. Try blending them into the scheme of your site and moving the ads around to another location. Trial and error is the name of the game with Adsense!

If I'm getting a better CTR with the stand out ads, why would I want to blend them more?

All I was suggesting is that you may want to consider experimenting with different locations to see if this effects your CTR in any way....very nice site design BTW

The ITR site? Thanks, but it wasn't my design. It's a friend's site. I'll pass on the good words.
