    Ads can be placed in a better manner. My experience is that Ads on the side are rarely clicked. I would recommend placing a horizontal ad unit right at the top, then a rectangular box between posts & 1 skyscraper on the side.
    You may also ad link units on the side.

    If your going to be serious about blogging I would not use blogger, but you can be successful with blogger and it's good to learn on.

    You should buy a domain, some hosting and install wordpress, it would be a much better soloution.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I can't put ads on top using templates...could I? I think I could edit the html of the template...I have to learn more about blogger.

    About buying a domain, only in the future. I can spend money right now...if I earn some, I will think about it.
