Should I Put Unique Aritles on my site or submit to directories?

To get the most out of a unique article, should I post it on my own website or post it to article directories?

 

I would say to your website first until your site is built up to 20-30 pages then you can start submitting to article sites, but submitting the same article to multiple articles site doesnt work that well anymore in my opinion.

 

That's what I thought....I figured if I have some unique content I should take advantage of it on my own website and hopefully get the search engines crawling my site on a regular basis.

 

Just submit abstract to article directory,not full content.

You could start out with the full article on your site to add meaningful, "real" content to your site. Then rework that same article into a shorter article that's worded somewhat differently, and submit that shorter version to article submission sites. Best of both worlds. Good luck...

You absolutely NEED unique and original content on your website. At the same time a little unique content submitted to the right article directories can generate a ton of quality traffic.
