Where can i get free content for my site.

I am trying to get people to advertise on my site but i need some content to make the site look a bit healthier so to speak rather than just an empty shell.
Just wondering if any of you guys use a particular site to get some content or do you just write your own?

Sport/Finance/Entertainment etc etc

Its my firm belief that content is king so once you have content it will eventually generate traffic, however i also believe in original content so i would do a mixture of your own content plus some copied (or re-writen)

If your looking for football(soccer) stuff i can provide you with a free rss feed to your site with football news

 

if you just want to fill an empty space try using ipsum lorem

Yeah my site is about caravanning/campsites and camping really so anything to do with those would be great.

My site is www.caravanineurope.co.uk and its listed in all major search engines infact its number 1 on yahoo for key word search caravan sites in europe and i am 6th on the first page of google but i am not getting enough traffic nor do i have enough content to attract advertisers

 

Search on google blog search with related keyword then make it as usr

Yea, also remember that you need to be sure to keep all the url's in place.

Of course free content is free content. You get what you pay for

 

You might want to try searching for free PLR content. Perhaps you'll find something for your niche. If you do you 'll need to edit some of it in your style of talking to make it more unique to you. This type of content can be changed and it's not copyrighted. Hope this helps

If nobody searches for it, then there isn't any point in working on that keyword.

 

I think that is a pretty good keyword, i dont think thats the reason. I also rank in the top 10 for other specific keywords like caravan sites in portugal,spain,france,germany etc. The site look good too i think its just a lack of content that sthe problem but now i have some good ideas to work on thanks to you guys.

 

Google it mate! You get all the content you need. Remember, when you copy from one site - plagiarism but when you copy from a lot of sites - research

 

You should really use the search function here on DP because the time it took you to ask that question, another member had the solution I stumbled on here. You have to signup, but, it's PLR content, so you could rewrite it yourself

 

I suggested to create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer to make it easy for users to recommend your services.

 

You have to create unique content yourself or you can use article spinner to generate fresh content form articles.

 

I agree, just scrap a load of related articles and rewrite them in order to make a new set of, more or less, unique articles. With time, you could also invest in writers, from time to time, one can find good ones that don't charge too much.
