I don't know how anyone could possibly prefer IE over Firefox, unless they've never used Firefox before. I love Firefox for its tabs, bookmarks, plugins, professional feel and many others.

    firefox of course
    what a question .....

IMO IE ONLY coexists thanks to the fact that it is imposed on WIN users by default install of the OS manufacturer and that most WIN users have NO knowledge about the browsers, no knowledge about browser choices and even less how to find alternatives or how to install SW of their choice. The industry is TOO weak and TOO scared of possible microsoft retaliation to make smart choices.

Newbies use what they get imposed by the PC sellers - smart people make choices of their own. All smart ppl I have seen so far always have chosen ffx! when ever I install an OS - win or linux - for a hotel resort or so, I always add firefox browser plus a few plugins/add-ons.
