My url is not showing on Google and i submitted it over 1 week ago !

What happening here ... I submitted my blog like over 7 days ago , and its still not appearing on the google search engine.

I even tried it 3 times the most.

I type the url again and still nothing comes up.

Please can some 1 shed some light ?

You need backlinks and your site will get indexed.

 

Submit your site only once, submit a sitemap, build backlinks.

 

give it some more time....indexing is not instantaneous and is not the same for every site. I'd give it another week or so, then start checking your HTML for errors.

You should also try google's webmaster tools and submit a sitemap. This can speed up the process.

 

Add you site into your DP sig, it will help!

If i search on it on google , i can trace it everywhere else but why dont i get my main url showin on the first page ?

Just leave it, get backlinks and develop your site, it will get indexed naturally (which is better)

 

if you have any nice unique info on your blog then submit it to digg and other social bookmarking websites, in a few minutes after submissions you should have a couple of spider crawl your blog, and normally your site will get indexed within the next 24h and this is just one of much more possibitlites to get your site indexed faster

 

Give it a little time, same thing happened to me. I built a sitemap and subimitted it and within a few days I most of my pages were indexed.

 

It depends on individual sites, but it usually takes a while.
Do you have Adsense on there? It might be me seeing things that aren't there, but I find that websites that already have adsense on them are crawled by the spiders faster!

 

If you need sites to be indexed fast, submit or post on sites that get SE crawled every minute or so.

 

Could you clarify this part a bit ?

Has your site been indexed or not ? Or has it been indexed, but doesn't show up on the first page for a particular keyword ?

 

JUst give it time, link for your sig and google will check it out, be all good. But make sure you use anchor text also

u can read some books related to seo !... they will help u a lot !.. there are some free books available on the net ! search in google !
