    Hey, thanks for the link. I hadn't heard about SerifDraw before, it looks nice.

    I strongly believe that people should have multiple tools that overlap, and use the best tool for the application at hand.

    You mentioned you still had inkscape and use it for converting files. I downloaded a password and print protected PDf I needed to edit, but the people who made the PDF were out of the office for the weekend. Not being able to open it in Illustrator or copy it out of Acrobat, I almost gave up.

    I loaded up inkscape, imported it - everything was intact and exactly how the PDF looked in Acrobat, only now I could export it to whatever format I wanted and make my edits in whatever tool I wanted.

    right on, I like alternatives, it's what makes the world go round :)

    If you want to see examples of what serif DrawPlus x2 can do, well they have some on there main site & all my work is done with it, so simply click my last signature link for "dark website Design" & go through a couple of my portfolios. the flash header was done in it too.. :) --- Of course I've only been doing Web / Print / Media design a little over 2 years now, so my work reflects my newbieness ---

    I love being able to have the convenience of everything in one software though, It's the only software I have found that does Flash / Vector / Raster / Paint / CAD / & Edits Pdf's (All-in-one) - especially for the price :) ....
