Maybe you have spyware of something? Why I don't have problems with IE, since IT's first release?

that's the funny thing I was running a spyware check (ewido) and no I don't have any, I use Adaware, spybot, Windows livecare, zonealarm pro...me thinks IE just bites rhino butt.

the other thing,....the flash ocx 9 keeps crashing the browser too...I suppose I should uninstall and reinstall it...be nice if the 112 error reports would actually return something once and tell me whwta to do

Well, that's why I don't install too much addons or trust anything :D I use just the inline search plugin, Silverlight and Flash. And, no problems :)

As I mentioned in the other thread, IE7 is a mess technically. It holds back the web because of its lack of support for standard web technologies, such as no support for xhtml, and poor support for CSS, the DOM, javascript, etc. All other browsers are far ahead of IE but many features cannot be used because IE can't handle them.

Looking forward to IE8. The features seem interesting, though hopefully functionality and usability isn't compromised. Currently using FF and no problems for me

I don't have any crazy things on it though...hard part now will be trying to figure out how to uninstall and and all that...must be internal from IE7 as it does not even show in add/remove programs.
