You shouldn't be speaking with anyone other than Paypal about this issue.

Ah that's crap, have you been getting emails telling you to login or anything recently?

If I ever get an email from paypal I delete it and log in manually - even if it's legit.

It's not worth the risk in today's world.

If you were hacked once, I'll say it is bad luck but if you were hacked twice then something is seriously wrong. Scan your computer for any trojan or keylogger or anything which would allow others to gain your password to your paypal account or your computer.

Its great to hear that you got your money back. If I were you I would only back up important files that you know are legit and reboot your computer back to factory settings.

If you're accounts are getting hacked/jacked/cracked or whatever. You need to find out what the flaw is. Seriously do that now, or risk losing even more money. You got lucky this time with PayPal but most (reasonably smart) thieves would move the money straight the bank account or spend it and you wouldn't be able to transfer the money back.

I agree... You could also have ZONE Alarm the Internet Suite package.

And as always try checking those protection if they are Enabled.. Sometimes they get disabled also for some reason which is I don't know. Bitdefender used to be like that.

there are so many ways of reason why you have been hacked.

1st: you click a lot of links and you didn't notice that you get virus named (trojan horse)
this virus will get all of your information such as paypal e-gold info. i was hacked too but in my e-gold not in paypal.

you have to call the paypal now and report this one. im sure you will get your money. but if the person uses the money already. he will get negative - balance.

Definitely need to change password and scan your computer for any spyware. What kind of protection software you running? Also don't reply to emails from paypal even when they ask you to log in to verify data. Emails like this are all spoof as paypal will never send emails requesting you to log in or otherwise. If you feel the need to check your account type paypal.com in your url bar.
