YSM and traffic

    Hi,

I have been using YSM for almost a year now, and has been able to run profitable campaigns.

There is however a pattern I can't figure out, and is the huge variation in sales.

One week I make 8-10 sales everyday, the next week only 0-2 sales a day.
This "pattern" has been going on for as long as I have been using YSM:

    week 1: Good
    week 2: Bad
    week 3: Good

    And so on...

Ads, bids and clicks/traffic are the same, nothing has been changed.

If i had less clicks and traffic in "bad" weeks I could make steps to prevent these variations. But as long as everything looks normal, I feel stuck!

Has anyone of you guys experienced this, or is this one of life's mysteries?

    Any suggestions are much appreciated!

    Rolf

Well do you advertise on another search provider and get the same effect? If not then its probably just variance. Or maybe there is some specific timing to your product (end of month). Also check through your referrer logs and see if you are getting traffic other than from yahoo and if this is what is causing the variance.

This can be an issue with any PPC as your ads do not always show up. I seem to have some days with high number of clicks and then the next it dives. Not really sure of the cause but make sure you check your budget.
If you pick the right keywords then I've add very good success with Yahoo search Marketing

In the original post he said that clicks/traffic stay the same.
