How much traffic do you get from social bookmarking sites?

Has the traffic improved your earnings?

Well, when somebody adds my site on stumbleupon, I get a lot of traffic, a few extra hundred a day. Then digg it all depends on the content I submit, If i submit a popular one, I can get up to a hundred, If I get one that gets on the popular list, It can be into the thousands, it all depends on the content

SU gives a lot of low quality traffic, lowers my bounce rate. The same goes to Digg.

For digg it depends on who submits the story too. Articles submitted by users who have high popularity ratios get ranked better than those submitted by low popularity members.
Anyone here who has high popularity on digg? We need your services.

agreed. you can get 100's of low quality diggs and it wont do your site any favours. if decent members digg your site, your far more likely to get quality traffic!

    Digg helps out a little.

With StumbleUpon, I've only had one day where the traffic was tremendous.

I'm very much involved with the readers of my website through my message board.

I even make them feel involved in the sight by having them suggest article ideas.

The traffic from these sites hasn't improved my earnings that much. But it's free traffic so I can't complain.
Lately I keep getting just backlinks from social bookmarking sites and don't care about the crappy traffic (which by the way don't like AdSense ads ;))
