    Hi!

It's a poll. Please vote now. Is it as flexible and customizable as advertised? Is it worth it? Is not? What about themes/plugins availibility?

Anyone who votes No / Yes, please include quick reason. I am about to get it - so help me with your experience.

a very great script packed with lots of free plugins that would cost u 100s of $ if u were on other script. Perhaps not as popular as some scripts but having used some of the popular once esyndicat is much better and flexible than others.

In my opinion, it's not that great, especially the latest version, it's full of bugs, and the database is forever corrupting itself - regardless whom it's hosted with.

    I'd go with phpLynx;)

Please PM me and I'll give you links to my directory which is running phpLynx - and I'll explain in intricate details as to why phpLynx is the best script out there.

    Other than that, stfu.

I could give a damn about your "intricate details"
I've been with esyndicat for over 2 and a half years.

By the way real cute with the "stfu" Typical response from phpLynx.

Well, it proves you're just brown nosing eSyndicat. The latest eSyndicat is crap IN MY OPINION.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one, now get over it.

Ps. I am in no means affiliated with phpLynx. I just like the script, and have seen the light - unfortunately, someone using eSyndicat for over 2 and half years, never will!

Can you be more specific about which version of Esyndicat you have used, and which bugs you have found? Unfortunately, the Esyndicat Pro forum is closed to the public so there is no way to verify the quality of the current version. Thanks for the info.

    Hi there,

Since you are a long time user of the product, can you give me some examples of some recent severe bugs that may have been reported in the Pro forum and how long it typically takes to fix these bugs. I think that Esyndicat does provide good support, based upon the public forums I have visited, but there is no way to validiate this since the Pro forums are only open to paid customers. Thanks for your help.

Also, I would like to modify the templates to show most popular, featured, and new listings at the top of the page, before the directory. I see that Esyndicat uses Smarty Templates, which I loathe, but can tolerate (I hate lots of moving parts). Have you done any modifications to the templates? If so, is it difficult? Can the kind of modifications I want to do, be done? Thanks.

Good so far, nearly 80% suggest using eSyndicat. Keep the votes and reviews coming. Still plenty of time.

I'm afraid eSyndicat is very buggy. Every time I check my link directory there is a new bug. I'm almost tired of it and thinking of switching to phpLD. I like the templates for esyndicat though.
