What do you mean, you are losing a lot? were you earning more before?

Some niches do not pay much per click. You are getting about 3 cents.

Try to remove MFA (made for ads) and LCPC (low cost per click). Get the list from this site http://www.adsblacklist.com/ and paste to competitive ads filter under your adsense set up.
    Good luck..

You can't really do much if you are stuck in a low paying niche. I'd suggest, starting a whole new site with something quite lovely to you and pays better in adsense.

If you have many ads in one page, try just having 1 ad in a single page..

The best solution is to add another niche site don't just focus on one site, currently I'm running 5 different niche sites. Find a niche with high paying keywords you'll soon reap the reward.

    good luck!

That's a whole set of clicks, how many visitors are you getting per day? Also, it also depends on the country the visitors are coming from? Its just that you site is well visited but the content is something advertisers are not willing to pay much for. Need to create a new site with different higher paying content.

    Good luck.

Ever thought of changing the ad network? Adsense might not work well for your niche. Try AdBrite.

    Perhaps this might work -

**I don't venture into these parts of the forums too often so please don't shoot me for my advise - this is from the heart.

I won't say that I am an adsense hater, however I will say that any of my affiliates that send me 2400 clicks to any of my niche product line could expect a 3% conversion on huge dollars instead of pennies.

Not to spam or advertise my stuff however look at this math for a second

Product $50 - as an affliate you keep 70% ($32 after fees) which converts at 3% on targeted traffic (so for every 100 uniques - expect 3 sales on average).

    100 clicks = $96
    1000 clicks = $960 etc.

I'm not sure what your niche is - or how you aggregate your traffic sources, however I would be FAR FETCHED to think that I couldn't make $1000+ on your traffic by using a targeted offer.

How? If you have ever dipped at all into clickbank, paydotcom, cj etc. you have 1000's of offers to match up to your traffic/audience. You should do a quick consultation with someone to evaluate your site and what types of high paying commission offers you could match up. Pick 3, test for a week, and pick the top 2, then another week and keep the best one (or both).

This would probably open up your eyes a bit to the aff world if you haven't taken a peek yet. Furthermore - if you were to mish mash a bunch of aff programs and adsense together that would still not make sense as you're losing prospects for pennies... Re-evaluate your objective, if it is to monetize on traffic period - than sticking to adsense alone may be your biggest mistake... ..

Anyway - just thought I'd throw this out there for you guys. To answer the original Q. You'd probably have to share a lil' more info for a proper assessment and advice - what niche? what general key clusters? What else deviates clicks? (other offers/banners/etc)...

There isn't much you can do if you've positioned yourself in a low paying cluster, you can try to improve by targeting higher keys. If it is a self generated content site (community etc.), this will be difficult. If YOU'VE built the site you should be able to tell google what ads to serve (you are in control remember, seo higher paying keys).

    Cheers,
    Norb.

NCMedia, although i agree with your ideas but remember besides USA, UK and Canada. All the rest of the traffic is garbage for affiliates since most of the affiliate programs are only for these 3 countries. I am guessing that his site is targetted towards indians and it wont need a psychic to tell you that Indian traffic wont give you squat on affiliate earnings.
