how are you going to shoot landscape @ 800mm and with a 1.6 crop factor then becoming 1280mm(which you already knew)

 

Well the shooting part is not up to me. It's up to my little brother. He is going to a trip around the world it concerns him. I will only be on the set's with him. Of course he would have an idea on how to resolve the problem.

800<->1280

As far as I know average terms it would be not a big problem. But in professional terms that would suffer a problem in the resolution and other DPI problems.

there is no problem, what I am saying is, if you attach this to a DSLR with a crop factor (most prosumer cameras being 1.6X) that 800mm becomes 1280mm.

and with a min focusing distance of 20feet, you'll need walkie-talkies to communicate with your subject
