    Hey,

Just out of interest, what is the most popular eCommerce software people use online?

I am messing about with osCommerce at the moment and it seems pretty cool but is it the best one?

I like CRE Loaded B2B best....its just a modified version of oscommerce with security and checkout improvements. Its well worth the money, and an excellent cart.

    Hi there

osCommerce is by far the most popular. That doesn't mean it is the best.

Go have a look at http://www.opensourcecms.com/ (shows demos of scripts etc) - I like ZenCart myself. Easy to setup etc.

The best depends on what exactly you want to achieve...what do you want to sell.
Even oscommerce might need tweaking if you sell specific merchandise...there's no size fits all solution.

OsCommerce is easy to manage and design.
But it's really difficult to manage it.

Wordpress can do better. All in one.
Just use Wordpress eCommerce plugin to setup your own virtual shop

I've used Magneto. Can highly recommend it.

Not only is the system easy to use, but with right design, you will get a modern Web 2.0 look on the site.
