    hey guys.

I was wondering if you could check out my blog:

    StandOutBlogger.com

And give me suggestions on where the best place to put google ads would be. I currently have them in the sidebar but was wondering if you could suggest anywhere else.

I want it to be tidy. I dont want the ads to look tacky.

    Thanks
    Tom

I think placing an ad under the header would be a good idea.

    Example.

I agree with superotang. Most of my clicks are came from the ads placed under the header.

I would suggest you to only have two placements:

    1) Horizontal link unit under the header.

    2) Square ad unit in each article (float right).

These placements will increase your CTR :)

I have a plugin that puts adsense ads under all my posts.
You might want to try that.

how does the square unit one work on the main page? because if you add it to one it adds it to all the posts on the page and you are only allowed a certain amount of adsense on one page.

Its ok, just let the top few ads show. 80% of your clicks will come from your top posts.
