Who here uses Digg to push their websites and blog posts?
I made a Digg account, but how do I make it reputable?
I've heard that there are some users on Digg that have so much authority that half of the articles they submit end up front page.

The only tip I was able to gather was get a lot of friends as they will Digg your articles and you should digg theirs.

    Does anyone know anything else?

( btw, add Me as a Friend and we can help each other out! http://digg.com/users/MichaelMelen )

I've never actually found digg traffic worth it. Better to focus on goold old link building. Also. Melen, I didn't know you were back into the website business. I've also learned that you need a REALLY good article to hit the front page. Crappy articles or even mediocre articles will get buried too fast.

If you submit something to Digg, you better make sure it's interesting. It can be on your blog or website or whatever, that's fine, but if you are doing it just to get a large spike of traffic and hopefully make some quick cash, it won't work. There are hudreds of thousands of diggers on right now, looking through new articles. Even if you get 5 people to digg up your article, 20 more will bury it, leaving it in the trash.

I'll only promote interesting articles... but even so, I'm sure If I push let's say:
    http://biz.yahoo.com/cnbc/080613/25141477.html?.v=1&.pf=banking-budgeting
    "Inflation causing low prices?"

It won't go anywhere but if someone established does it, it may just appear front page.
