    it's TONS faster than 32-bit!! ;)

I'm not sure if there is a direct correlation, if 64 bit is twice as fast as 32 bit but for instance, I have read that 64bit versions of Win XP runs circles around the std 32 bit version.

64bit SW&OS makes better use of dual core machines for one...faster CPU throughout and so forth.

    I bet 64bit video rendering >>> regular 32bit

cs4 has expanded functionality between programs in the suite and many added 3D features along with the other odd new feature here and there. google it.

Well... 64-bit is faster, 3D features allow you to "paint" on 3d objects. Also the smart stretching and a couple of other things. The layout is also redesigned, IMO it's more streamlined and better in CS4. I don't think it's worth the money though especially for the majority of people who wont really be using these features.

right, I was wondering whom the target market on this version would be.

CS3 had a lot of great improvements for photographers...much more RAW control as well as a nifty B&W conversion tool. I don't think there was anything in particular in 4 that appealed to photographers though; of which I am. :)
