    My bad :( Guess there are some people having both, though this is possible only when u had the cat first and the dog is not too big when u get it. Otherwise, the dog "won't like" the cat and some bad things could happen.. :)

    I would prefer a cat. They are low maintainence lol. You dont have to take them on walks or anything, just throw a bit of food their way every now and then :p

    Dog. For the companionship. He'll stick by your side when you need him, or mourn you if you left his life.

    A cat's easier to bring up, and quite interesting and fun, but nowhere near as worthy of domestication as a dog is.
