Is Sedo the best way to sell a domain?

I have searched the web several days to find the best solution to sell a domain name and I am still not sure if that solution exists.

Could you please tell me what is the best way to sell a domain?
And another question, what is the SEDO comision, 10% or 20% ?

I have found ebay to be a better place to sell domains. Since buyers on Sedo are well versed and seasoned domainers, it is not possible to get "better than worth" deals. However, on ebay, with the proper auction copy, it is possible to hype up the value of the domain and find a buyer willing to pay price higher than the worth of the domain.

sedo is 10% commission ($50 minimum)

That means if your domain sells for $100 (sedo gets $50 commission)

I wouldn't recommend using sedo unless you have a domain that will sell for at least $500

    Hope it helps!

I find that forums are great for average and slightly above average domains. SEDO will give you an extra edge for rare domain names :)

I have a question regarding PayPal.
I heard that if you sell something, the buyer can cancel the payment and paypal will refund him.

Can't I get scammed by selling a domain name and then after a period of time the buyer would ask for a refund? I would lose both the money and the domain :|

I heard about lots of people using AlertPay that have their accounts on negative balance because their buyers asked refunds and I think PayPal uses the same system as AlertPay.

So how can I be sure that after I receive the money on PayPal, they are MY money forever?

how can our domain is listed on their homepage list?
because I see most domain listed there are so nice worth.
or the buyer is must bidding first during the domain is parked.

Sedo is good. The domain forums are good. From our experience though, the best way to sell domains is to note that the name is for sale in the whois and at the bottom of the landers, with a link to buy or make offer. Then pick names for Sedo and the forums too. Sedo has a lot of frequent buyers. The ebay suggestion is just ok in our experience.

you can sell names and push them within the same registrar. the 60 day icann hold after transfers applies to transfers between registrars.

yes it is true that paypal will reverse transactions. sometimes it is not even paypal doing the reversing- it is the buyer charging back weeks or months later for whatever reason. fraud and hacked accounts are another reason paypal reverses transactions.
