Well using own ID is very safe. If you don't have then use any email which will be use only for payments. Nothing else. So it will be safe.:)

I also use my private email for my Paypal account. As long you can register your Paypal and receive payment notifications, it doesn't matter which email provider you're using.

I think a private account is the most safe and secured rather than from a free email provider.

But i need to choose from any of the above email providers then i shall choose Yahoo mail above all....:)

I would go for gmail, strangely enough my account didn't get limited with my gmail email (after 5 months i verified it anyways), but when i used hotmail & yahoo, after a week or less they limited my account. I have had no problems using gmail.

I use domain emails or a personal one provided by isp but wouldnt use free ones like hotmail for a paypal account as scammers are known to use this method.

Well in regards to actual 'safety' of mail for paypal transactions, I guess the one that catches the phishing mail?

But for paypal you should always know, they say your name rather than customer or whatever :)

    Anywayssss, I love gmail! :)

gmail here, I wouldn't use hotmail or yahoo for business stuff, they add way to much emails to their spam folders

Protonmail or a personal mail are the most secure matters that I'know. c:
