Anyone else talk to themselves?

Just wondering if i'm right in the head or not .

I sometimes have little conversations with myself, my mind playing one side, me speaking doing the other side of the conversation (like if i'm thinking of what I could eat, then I say something like "I could have ___" and my mind sometimes argues agains't me -- not sure why). Or I have conversations in my mind about things that arn't even important or interesting, just random thoughts, but thinking deep into them like having a conversation to one of my mates about it.

I don't do it often, or when other people are around...just when i'm on my own.
Anyone else the same? Or am I just a bit crazy...

If i'm on my own on this one then I doubt it's bad for my health or anything...it's harmless really .

    Thanks,
    TS

Apparently there is nothing wrong it a bit of "Inner me talk". (according to the readers digest)

I've noticed that people in the UK do talk to themselves quite alot. And it is largely due to factors like stress even if they arent at the time aware of it.

So nope you arent crazy, and I myself do find myself drifting and trying to solve issues " even food". But I do always second guess my decisions which is a trait I wish I didnt have.

I'd start worrying if you suddenly have a full blown argument with yourself, which results in you making your other you make you sleep on the couch.? lol

    yeah that's weird.

but I do imagine conversations between myself and other people. it's just a good way to get their opinion without having to talk to them, or to come up with answers to their questions before they ask them, or to prepare the story you are about to tell, or to get your lies in order so you don't mess up.

I think it's natural for people to talk to themselves. I've walked up on people before while they are talking to themselves, and they get spooked, then embarrassed, it's pretty funny. I don't know about your brain arguing with your food choices though ;) haha. jk

I have seen my wife talking to herself while cooking in the kitchen...
It is not at all a problem to talk to yourself. But beware. Take care of your surroundings before you do the talking. Otherwise people will think that you have gone mad :)
