Adsense Placement Review: addonsfirefox.com

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by hermione_dies, Jul 18, 2008.

I just added some ads on http://addonsfirefox.com

Some aren't still showing up so I'll list them:
    INDEX:
468x60 Under first post on Index
120x600 Under "Recent Addons" in the sidebar
    POSTS:
468x60 Right under the title and above the content
    468x60 Above the comment form

I'm leaving one adsense spot available on the post page so I can put it inside the content when making new posts.

Make suggestions on colors, placement, and if they are against Google TOS for some reason.

    Thanks :)

I'm not seeing them anywhere on your site. Either on the main page or on the individual content pages.

Still not there and this is several hours later on a computer that's 50 miles away from where I was earlier. Are you sure you're not looking at a local cache copy that didn't get uploaded for some reason? Even in the view source there's nothing related to google adsense scripting code.

This is a common template problem.. try to switch to other template if you can see your ad.

I can see my ad. I even tried another browser and it shows up. It's the other people that can't see them.

Under the first post on the index page there should be a blank spot where the ad is supposed to be

It's a problem with supercache, it isn't able to write to the directory for some reason (I can't chmod either)

I've disabled it for now, so you guys can check it and it should work, hopefully.
