u can use Photoshop to crop the image so that u only have the face.
Then go to Image >> image size
and change it o the size ya want :)

    - Use the selection tool to select the area you want
    - Copy and paste it to a new file
    - Go to Image > Image Size and change as you like

You need to use the Crop tool as geekos mentioned. That will allow you to select the portion of the face you want to use and remove the rest. Once that's done, simply heady into Image/Image Size and re-size the image to your needs. All you need to do after that is save the image and you're done.

    Here's how:

1.) Go and use the crop tool

    2.) Select the face

3.) Select cut or right click it and select cut

4.) Open a new window and just hit okay

5.) Past it in the new window

    6.) resize it

    Goodluck!

    Make it this way...

Select marquee tool > drag your mouse from top left to bottom right > CTRL I + P

If you want to resize your image CTRL I + I

or make a new photoshop file with the size you desire and drag your recent image to the current file.

    Thanks

Try Resize Pictures Plus, it offers lots of handy features, like (batch) resizing, etc;you can apply resize, compress, watermark, editing, etc. to a folder full of images before uploading to your host;Google it!
