    Hey Guys ...

I am quite certain almost all of you would be able to point me to some website, if not out right "TUTOR" me on this :p

I want to know how to create bg's like these ...

Also, if I was looking for this what exactly would by my search terms? I spent more than 30 mins looking for this on yahoo and google ... heck I even gave MSN a shot lol ... my search terms were (striped, stripped, stripped sunrise, 2.0, etc) ... and the best I got as the stripe generator sites that do diagonal, vertical, and horizontals but NO SUNRISE EFFECT :(

Greatly appreciate your assistance in advance!

p.s. and here is another example http://i33.tinypic.com/1zv528k.jpg

They are usually called "vector rays". It's one of the default shapes in Photoshop, so this effect can be quickly applied by placing the Rays shape onto your background.

    I'm glad it was helpful.
Just remember that you can create them really fast using the default Photoshop shape (it's under Shapes/Symbols):
