yeah, let's hope he does not have a Marty Schottenheimer type playoff record!
I think the main thing is health...as is the case with many of the teams in the league....contending teams or they would have been aside from injuries.

what they really need is to have a stellar Dec for once! no more coasting!!

that has nothing to do with anything....she was @ the GB game you know!!! they smoked Favre!

I think a lot fewer 2 yard runs by Julius Jones (now with Sea) will greatly improve the offense.

THOUGH, it looks like special teams are quite handicapped again this year.....grrrrr

 news to me, a girl?

No, John Kitna's still the go-to guy. Good time to start grooming the next guy, but nobody else is ready to start yet. And since Drew Stanton is out for now, it sure won't be him for the next 4 weeks or so.

And I do have high hopes for Williams and Johnson. They have as much talent as any other duo out there, but "using them right" seems to be the famous downfall of the Lions. :(

Yeah, a girl who likes sports. Who'da thunk it? :p

 Does that mean you're not? :p

This thread slipped past my attention for some reason.

I didn't realize Stanton was hurt again! Jeeze, he hasn't even played yet. I know a lot about Mike Martz, and I absolutely hate his coaching style. The guy will not switch up his game plan when it's not working. Kitna took a beating last year because of it. But at least Martz is gone now.

Would anyone be interested in creating a digital point fantasy football league?

a DPFFL has been mentioned before but there was not much interest if I recall. Buff might have actually participated in a league last year? or I'm talking out my A88, one or the other

Sometimes I do Fantasy Football and sometimes I don't. But I've never done one online. The one I participate in is local. They run 3 leagues of 8 teams each. If they only have 23 owners, they tell me that I will be having a team. So far, I have been told that they won't need me to have a team this year. But until they do their draft, I won't believe it. :D

And yes, last year I had a team. Good job recalling, Tim. ;)

Hmm looking at this thread so far we might be able to get 4-5. A league needs at least 8, but 10-12 is ideal.

rofl. dang, fantasy football's boring. I'm putting together the FWVL (fantasy womens volleyball league). So far none on my top pics actually know how to play, but I guarantee it's still gonna be fun to watch.

    WHO GOT CUT??????

any surprises moves by your club? guys you thought were a lock to make the team but didn't???

the Cowboys had their #3,4,5 WR's get hurt in pre-season so it was somewhat surprising that neither Mike Jefferson or Danny Ammendola did not make the team to help sure that WR position up...then again when you have TO, Crayton, Jason Witen, and Felix Jones, I don't think throwing the ball will be a problem.

Lions were the only team to complete pre-season UNDEFEATED! (Yes, we take pleasure wherever we can...) So that means that my 4th string is better than your 4th string. :p
