Rate this theme

This is my first theme... plz comment...

 

Tacky clashing colours, too many fonts, mis-aligned boxes

It's not a theme either, it's not coded up in XHTML/CSS, it's currently a design.

I'd rate it 2/10 at best, actually I'd rate it 1/10 but you asked for advice so its worth another point

Loose the fade out's at the top of boxes, it's distracting

Line up all the boxes properly and evenly, in Photoshop use Ctrl+' to switch on grid view, then use it

Stick to web friendly font's for text and menu listing so they can be outputted in a web browser via xhtml

Then goto http://kuler.adobe.com/ and find a good colour combination, remember to use lighter, paler colours for the background of content if your text is going to be black so it makes it easier to read

 

Why so many non-complimentary colors? They're all so bright that they don't accommodate each other very well. Try a website like kuler.com or colourlovers.com and check out the different color palettes they have there. That'll give you a better head start.

I think you're on the right track, at least with the way you're trying to position the different elements, but it might do you some good to check out the various theme galleries or template websites to study how a successful theme looks.

 

is it for some poker or gaming purpose? if yes then its ok,
or else its to bright , and too much colors.

 

very colourful.if for gaming-theme its eye catching but if else I think not very suitable

 

The color and everything was nice and catchy but you want to change the font,the font was not looking so nice try to change the font it will be more nice.

I love green but I think the two colors, blue and green, become conflicting with attentions.
Likewise with the saturation, they seem very bright some people would not be happy with that.

But overall, for me, its nice for you to choose the colors.

Nice try. Practice more. Visit other web sites to get idea of positioning and color combination.

poor color combination I see.....maybe adding some vector graphic or illustration will make it more interesting..

Color combination is not so good. Theme architecture is good but needs more improvement. My rating 3.5/10.

 

i like it is color... but greens make the theme DARK. you can make colorful by using yellow

 

To be honest i think everything is okay apart from the color scheme. The color scheme makes it look so dull & boring but its your first theme so its very good for a first.

 

ugly, too simple, colors haven't been picked right

 

colors arent a good combination, but I think maybe a yellow or orange would be better than the green.
but i do agree with the people above, if it IS a gaming site
I could understand this color combination. Its bright and such.

 

Honestly, it's not the greatest but you could turn it into something great with good practice. For ex. I suck at illustrator..but one day I just opened it up played around with some shapes and sold that particular logo design for $300.
