    It's simple, good credit = you get great offers.

    All of my credit cards 'and we have lots of them' give us something back for using them.
    One gives me 1-3% cash back instantly on every purchase I make.
    Another gives me up to 5% cash back in the form of a check when I request it.
    Another 'my American Express platinum Hilton card' gives me free vacations every year.

    I have others as well that pay me to use them. The key is NOT CARRYNG A BALANCE!

    Not to forget my money stays in the bank for an extra 2 weeks or more making interest, had I paid in cash it would not have. I also get protection on my purchases and an easy to follow printable transaction history every month.

    Exactly. I've never not paid the entire balance.

    I just wish car dealerships would let me buy a car on my credit card. Most of them only allow a few thousand. :(
