Open Source Photo Gallery?

Discussion in 'Content Management' started by navi, Sep 11, 2008.

Looking for Open Source Photo Gallery solution to integrate within existing sites, with admin, so that users can upload their own pictures.

    Needs to be php/mysql based.

Been Googling a bit of course but came up with nothing satisfactory.

coppermine's functional - but it's not very good looking. It's not a question of templates - there are templates out there - I think the structure of the layout is awful. I think you'd have to do a lot of fiddling with it to get it to look better.

Yes, that is the problem I also experienced when I was looking around for this type of scripts. Out of the box they all seempretty dreadful and it takes time to modify themes, source code etc.

Pretty and functional would be nice. :)

I've been using Menalto's Gallery v2 for a couple of years now and I'm very happy with it. :)
