this site is pretty dam good for a newbie. You can put another unit on the left side if you want. Maybe the half skyscraper unit.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I have a bit of an edge as Im a software engineer and my wife is a graphic designer. Still, websites are much more art than science and no amount of knowledge seems to substitute for experience.

I originally had a skyscraper on the left, but I thought that people would think it was too "spammy". I suppose its just wasted space, so I might as well.

    Thanks again.

Nice layout, I wouldn't overdo the ads and the amount you have is about right, though I would echo the suggestion of at least _trying_ the ad on the left rather than right, though where it is looks good.

I would make sure to get a privacy policy in place since I didn't see one. Unless the omission is a result of the following error I see on the bottom of your page:

Yes I just fixed that. I have had the privacy policy on the "about" page for a time, but decided to link it to the front.

For a newbie site is extremely good.

What you need is traffic, submit your site in Google Yahoo and MSN, Try to get more backlinks to your site. Submit your site in different forums. Add link of your site in signature.

Once you start getting decent traffic focus on increasing the CTR.

Thanks for the advice. I have done all of the above and have been keeping an eye on webmaster tools, and google analytics. I suppose its just a waiting game now.
