    a) interesting point...I wonder if istock has any HDR photos...not that these are 'done right' BUT based on their robot like specifications I would think it would be near impossible to have an HDR image accepted by them:rolleyes:

    b) good plan by him! selfish B/P :p

I actually liked the sound of this when he gave it a good kick but all the other people near me (we were waiting for the shuttle bus) were snickering as I'm sure you would have too!

lot of vettes there at the show, new and old...they have a 2009 ZR1  sweet!

laptop is for solitaire if he gets bored? :-P

Nothing to snicker at if its done right. Trouble is, more often than not, these cars are all show, and no go. You don't need to go 200MPH, obviously, and my Vette has an older 195HP engine. A 350, but nothing super fast. My last Camaro would have smoked it a million times over. But then again, I don't find any noticeable performance advantage in taking a 4 banger and making it look stupid. There's something so much cooler about a sleeper. A subtle speed demon that looks clean, cool and quiet till you turn her on.

The Fast and Furious styled cars give me the heebie jeebies. They look like shit most of the time, and are more of an annoyance than a source of snickers or comments.

I like less bling, more style. For example. Put my older tired Vette next to some kid in one of these wanna bee FAF cars and kids old and young tend to go, "nice Vette", while the majority looking at the FAF are like, WTF is that?

I tend to laugh my ass off when I see some of these cars on the road. Again, the one you have a picture of looks like it was done right, and is probably fast and sounds somewhat tolerable. Trouble is, there are very few out there on the road like that. Most of them belong to people seeking some alternate ethniticity who take Dodge Neons a months pay at McDonalds and blow it all at Auto Zone.

Hell, we all did this crap as kids in high school. But as I recall when I did it, we were bying Hooker Headers, Traction Bars, and Crager SST wheels. Gas was 80 cents a gal and the bigger, faster and louder the better. V8 or nothing baby!

Its more about Style to me I guess.... I guess I'm kinda old school!a

Technically they aint rice burners coz they have very significant performance tuning... and rice burners are just visual modifications ne?

I believe the lappy is for ECU control (valve & ignition timing, boost contol - turbo & NOS, ABS, stability)

I think you are right, in this case it was done and done right with a large bankroll...nothing cheapie about it. But I know what you mean, I see crap a** cars nearly every time I hit the interstate, ones that look like poo and sound even worse than a poo/vomit combo.

I'll take the deep rumble of a 302/305/350... any day of the week.

I need to find the video of the Ford GT....think it's still on the camera. I was RIGHT behind the car when he really let the throttle fly....holy SHIZola was that thing loud. I bet it was 120-150 decibels easily.

    It was tight

Nice pics... Using Photoshop filters again? Love that program...

That FGT350 is awesome.. There was one at the Volo Automall a while back. They wanted a small fortune for it. Like more than my house! OUCH!
