    I'm getting a terrible CTR of 0.18% and I simply don't know what I'm doing wrong. A couple of my sites are http://www.clscams (d0t) com and http://www.chemistryonline (d0t) org Can anyone help make a suggestions? I would really appreciate it.

    Hi,
    First, use only Text ads.
    Now, how much traffic you have? how old is the websites?

    If you that's a new websites and you don't have good and stable traffic you can't based and assume that's your real CTR.

    Text ads are more efficient when placed properrly.
    How old is your website? my friend .Better increase traffic and place the ad unit where they will be most seen by user

    Perhaps Google's have a hard time finding advertisements for your site?

    Your site is about Chemistry yet Google is serving me ads about forexct and finance?? Perhaps increase the content on your website to include more focused keywords. Use a keyword analyser to find better keywords :)
