Hey guys, would appreciate it if someone would tell me what they think of my placement on my site: http://diamond-princess-cut.blogspot.com/

I started this site 2 days ago and made 45 cents from it so far, from 3 clicks (lol).

It allready has 21 posts on it but I still need to write a few 400 word articles so that's the plan.

Do you think the 336 banner is to large?

What about the skyscraper on the right side nav bar?

I will give my opinion on your site if you do this for me!

You can't optimize any harder than that without being completely MFA.

Hey there...just looked over your site. I think the adsense ads look ok. I think the problem with your site is that it needs more color and pictures. It's just a lot of pink text...

I like the niche you have choosen, just need to add some color to make things "pop".

    MFA = Made for Adsense.

While it's true this blog is made for adsense revenue, I plan on writing more articles, for now it is just short thoughts on different pictures of princess cut diamonds.

You have to admit you've seen much worse MFA sites then this one, I know i have...

I think it looks great and when your done adding content and ready for exchanges check out my sig and let me know. Other than that once all your content is up i think it will fill out the page fine and will cloud those ads a bit. So i say keep it how it is with some additional color and your good,

    Keep up the good work,
    David

Hello David (my name too btw!)

I would love to exchange links with you, I see you also have a few diamond related websites. How are they doing for you?

Tonight I will write a few lengthy articles on princess cuts, most of today I have been building backlinks.

In my opinion you can edit your template to make your blog more beautiful..Do not use default template for blogger.com

Lol you have successfully made an MFA site. 90% of content above the fold is ads.

My opinion...do something original. It's a stock blogger template that has little curb appeal. Buy yourself a domain name and do a search for "Free Blogger Templates". There are lots of cool, free blogger templates you can download and use to spice up your site and stand out from all the others. Create something different with a unique look and you're 1000% more likely to get people interested in your site, which will equal more clicks. At least trick people into thinking you're providing them something of value. Add some more content...but not too much. The key with MFA sites is to give information..but still leave them wanting more so they click on your ads. Just my 2 cents.

Ok, I removed the large rectangle and am taking your guy's advice.

    Is it still MFA?

If you think it is I don't think there are any more ads I can remove without hurting my potential CTR.

    I like this post.

I am getting a domain name in november, this blogger is kind of just a test because in the past I have failed making money off blogger blogs, but I read a post that inspired me to try again.

As long as you add more content to it, it will not be perceived as being MFA. Two ad units should be enough and basically it needs more content to balance up. Certain posts I can see only contain 2-3 sentences.

The site is only 2 days old :)

I am going to go through the post again and tweak post titles and add to the word count.

But I just switched to 2 ad units, a leaderboard above post title, and a skyscraper in the right navbar.

I signed up for amazon affiliate and added a few banners at the bottom of the page for people to look at when they are doin checking posts and hopefully clicking my ads :)

Two ads rather than three is good. Two ads positioned like that is a lot, but not extreme. Three is extreme.
