I don't think graphics would sell very well....

Computer generated looks better and less grainy. There are also more features such as shadowing in computer rendered graphics.

Now, Art is a whole other story :)

Depends, hand drawn artwork can be used in some fairly kool circumstances, such as Error pages where the image is but a part of the overall page - seen some good ones used in error pages... will try and find some of the ones I reviewed when attempting to create a set of error pages for a laid back Website...

you can try selling them on microstock sites like istockphoto and shutterstock. but you'd need to vectorize them first.

You'll find a lot of vector graphics / illustrations start out as hand drawn designs anyway

However there is still a market for hand drawn graphics scanned in, it's getting quite popular now, especially pen + ink designs mixed with digital "watercolour" colouring.

Something like webdesignerwall.com is a good example

There is more of a demand for computer drawn graphics then there is for hand drawn. You would be better off investing your time in learning a program like photoshop or illustrator than trying to appeal to a very small demand.

It depends. In some cases hand drawn graphics could make sites pretty wonderful. However, this is far more difficult to bring out than just think of.
    Anyway, your idea is kool!

Anything appealing to eyes would be lapped up fairly quickly..be it hand-drawn or otherwise.

Just make sure they are friendly to see.....

What are you talking about, the wb wall is full of Computer generated designs, flash css javascript what have you. Learn to read kyle.

As to the topic: we have people that know even how to design on stone but it's not very useful because it's almost impossible to do that kind of work via the internet. Most people hire hand designers locally.

Urm I'll think you'll find the background was originally hand drawn then traced in Illustrator, and there are more examples of hand drawn graphics in the pages, the digg it and previous/next buttons for instance
