I feel its little bit messy with the advertisements please arrange your adds properly. Its better you place the ads top or bottom of the content. If you can limit adds its much better.

 

I felt the same... Try to separate you Contents and Advertisements... Menu looks really a old style... But if u are new to web design.. then its very good...

 

You've got a decapitated guy up there.

It's too busy.. you might want to try moving an ad to the bottom. There's a lot of white space near the footer. Balance out the placement of your images.

Looks an eBay clone. Not a good thing. It'll turn most people away immediately. There's also too much text/links. Try to broaden the items in their general categories and maybe add a "Popular" section or add small icons to ease browsing.

I like the header section though; it's clean and well-divided. You're getting there!

 

It looks rather generic, like it's a premade template with a logo added. The spacing seems tight in certain areas as well

 

Didn't you people fee any difference in ebay and this templete?...
This is a classified template and that is an auction system....
That is what my client wants to have...
As far as popular section is concerned its a good idea...

 

you better do some small changes to differentiate it from the ebay. some correct changes will do the trick.

 

For me, the first design looks better than the second one. The blue color is good to go, except that the layout is too clutter.
