This site must be making a load of cash though to justify sitting on a domain name like that.

 

They have probably registered years ago and make enough to where they are not tempted selling it

 

Their website is not working.. Are they still in business???.. It seems they went under... they have a nice domain name though, I wonder if they're selling it...

 

I can see that this thread is 3 years old, yet that "diamondcutjeans.com" STILL ranks #3 for "mens jeans" - pretty impressive - I have to admit...

Especially when you consider the rankings of the website spots:
#1 - 1,285
#2 - 36 (Amazon.com)
#3 - <b>over 5,000,000</b>

You have to admit that you wonder how they're doing it.

 

I checked their in-links and there aren't that many, the only special one they had was dmoz.
Age of site might help (domain reg. since 1999)
Doesnt look like theres anything special hidden in the source code.

Also they are at the bottom of page 2 (#17) when I do that search so good but not that amazing.

 

It is a funny business, and it attracts those who want to make a quick buck. Since what is being sold is so intangiable and so difficult to monitor if you do not know what you are doing. We tend to use linkbuilders rather tha seo as the other bit is quite straight forward. Never found a reliable honest link builder though. Paid a lot and looked in a lot of places. All I seem to get is duplicate IP, or dubious sites with copy and pasted auto links, and they wonder why I get arsy.

 

SEO companies are unethical in many cases, but so called seo copywriters are the worst. BEWARE of these people who just want your money and are terrible to deal with: http://www.powerwriting.com/

 

Exactly, I still don't know where should I find my SEO service providers.

 

Old true have bad troubles with them too...
