Bad ads affect good ads?

Is it true that if you have ads placed on pages that perform bad (rarely clicked), that it affects your overall revenue made on the higher paying ads?

    thanks

I do not think so man.Why should the ads which are not clicked affect the "higher paying ads".they don't have any effect on the revenue earned..

    Very helpful...

It would affect your click through rate as more impressions displayed with ads on low converting pages. But even if you only got a more clicks your revenue would increase. This is why CTR doesn't always matter.

Makes no difference. In fact, if you're getting a lot of impressions but not a lot of clicks that's actually considered normal in the eyes of Google. That's what most websites get. What's abnormal is when the number of clicks is anywhere near the number of impressions. For instance, if 100 people visit your page and 70 of those people click on your ads that's when Google begins to turn a close eye to your account (and may decrease your revenue per click or who knows what else). But anyways, none of this is provable. Only Google knows for sure.
