    I have uploaded an MP3 file to a server so that I can share it with other people, right now it opens a new browser window and begins to play. Is there a way that I can set it up to automatically download?

    if you want to download then zip file is good other wise browsers plugins will start paying instead of saving

    Get a download manager and insert the link for the file if you dont like the zips...

    Thanks, I will try the zip file way as I only have a few files I need to share with someone and it would not be cost effective for the download manager.
