I agree, Digg will get you some immediate results but ezine articles will bring in more traffic for months and years to come.

Submit to ezine articles and then post them to digg.com and other social bookmarking sites.

Both first to ezine then to Digg but make sure it doesn't look spammy for Digg otherwise you will get banned and then no traffic then all the other social networking sites

    first ezine then the others

My vote goes to ezine articles, because it provides you traffic in a long run. If your article is good and informative will never die on ezine and will keep on bringing good traffic on your site.

    They're not the same.

If I had to choose, Digg. Huge traffic potential > tiny traffic that you get over time.

You can submit latest tips or tutorials to Ezinearticles and submit the latest news to Digg.

    Just my 2 cents.

I used to be a top digger and actually had a digg service running. it seemed that since i built up so many friends that every submission i made was sent to the front page. that was last year and i brought down my own servers a few times with 300k visits per day for at least 2 days. it was fun but very, very , very time consuming!. addictive as well.

Digg is better I think. I never used ezinearticles but Digg gets me high traffic.

    Anyway, the best is StumbleUpon.

These are two difrent things. One is an article directory and one in a social network. On digg you submit just your link to your article.
So the best think is to combine this two thinks.
We all know you can submit direct link to ezinarticle so you better go for hubpages or to squidoo. They both rank high in google plus you could get some money too.

I also use digg and the above comments are correct as you gain readership its effectiveness increases.
