Creating Logo

How do you create a logo for ur site and how to get it enabled? Also, can anybody help me creating a stylish logo for my mobile blog?

You can also try using GIMP. It is like Photoshop, but free. The code to put an image on a site is listed below.

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is the best to create stylish logos!

 

For a web use Photoshop is ok, but if you need it for print too I recommend you Adobe Illustrator.

Photoshop, much like its name suggests, is a photographic manipulation program. It is not a vector artwork tool (logos need to be designed as vectors). And although it does have vector tool capabilities (pen tool), it still places the vector in the framework of a pixel-based canvas.

A vector program is vector tools in a vector canvas, and your logo needs to be vector or it's not a logo. Logo design is the purest form of graphic design and takes a significan amount of creative problem solving and strategizing to make a good one.

Logo design is something everybody can do horribly, but it takes a trained professional to do professionally.

Basically a screwdriver does have a big flat surface you could use to hammer in a nail, but why would you recommend a Screwdriver in place of a hammer?

I highly recommend Adobe Illustrator and the best vendor-supported commercial Vector illustration program out there and it's worth the money you pay for it.

Alternatively, I also find it advantageous to supplement Illustrator with the best open-source vector illustration program, Inkscape, which has certain tools which are stronger, and some which are weaker. Either way, it's available for free at inkscape.org, and it produces professional quality results.

You could hire a real logo designer rather then creating an un-processional one .

 

Use a photoshop trial, or if you think you can, use paint.

 

Bro, I think you hv recommended the best for me and I am grateful for that. But when I recall from my school life when I had to sit for drawing/art exams I see no hope in creating a logo myself as I cudn't even draw a mango properly in those simple art exams. I hv got myself photoshop before I post this thread and all I cud do is make a funny banner with just simple (cartoon type) fonts. If u check my site symbiansmartphone.com u will see it. After all these posts I hv come to a decision to hire a professional who will hopefully save my butt.

 

I would take innovati's advice he knows what he's talking about,
and I'd suggest learning illustrator not photoshop for a logo

 

Hiring a pro is your best bet.
Unless you are an artist, it's not a good move to waste your time, and make yourself look less than professional.
